❤❤❤How Would You Like Your Eggs Scrambled?❤❤❤

Yeah. It's been day 4 since I've been off training and waitressing on my own. I must say that I do enjoy doing what I do. I mean, yeah I need to be more acquainted with the machine and the menu but I'm pretty dope at this thing. I'm SO happy that the establishment that I work at has hired me with no experience in a field with well over experienced women. I was very intimidated working with them because they are all old enough to be my mother and I just thought that working with people the same age as my mother would be kind of weird because...face it, it's like working next to your mommy. Like mom, get off my case. But I know they are just teaching me and I am taking  it all in one day at a time.

One thing that I've noticed working with these women is that they don't thoroughly do what we are told to  do. Women would tell me one thing, and do another. The managers are also always telling me one thing and never do what the other ladies do because they don't do things right. I just nod and say 'okay'. I must say how much they love forming me into their own little waitress because I was a virgin to working and waitressing and I'm learning what they want me to know versus coming in with habits from another restaurant.

Talking on the side with my coworkers, there are some who love what they do and others who wish they could get out as fast as they can. For example, a couple of days ago a co-worker told me that she was upset with working in 4 sections versus 3 because she makes less money. She then went on to tell me how she used to make more and she is currently looking for another place to work. Now I was taken aback because first of all, I was the fourth addition to the sections. I didn't know how to feel or what to say because she pretty much blatantly told me that because I was hired, I am ruining her funds. I didn't feel bad for one minute. Walking away and nodding my head I told myself: too bad bish. I like it here too and this establishment is not going to stop hiring bishes because I keep seeing people come in to apply, get interviewed, and there's a new face somewhere. It's the circle of life.

I make half of minimum wage but who cares! My tips are fab because of where the establishment is located at the docks after the tourists get off. Can be hectic but I love it. :)

So that was a synopsis of everything thus far. Now back to my new life!

❤❤❤
